Course Summary

In the first part awareness and understanding is created towards :

  • The inherent dangers of using Oxygen / Acetylene and LPG
  • The equipment used in welding, brazing and cutting
  • The proper care of equipment
  • The safety procedures to adhere to in accordance with Unit Standards EnM-G046/46

The second part gives each participant the chance to apply lessons learned and to practice.

Number of Participants
Minimum 10 Participants (depending on the participants educational background (lieteracy levels) and their ability to learn.
Please note that the pass mark is 65% or higher, depending on your company’s discretion, is achieved in the Practical test, a Certificate of Competency is issued.
Venue
Provided at your Company premises equipped with White Board.
Equipment Required
One set of Oxygen/Acetylene welding equipment.
A screen for the Proxima.
Cost

Travel
Travel cost to the venue at the AA Rate
Accommodation
Accommodation and meals should the Presenter have to stay in the area of training. Accommodation the night before the Seminar is to begin and to continue until the Seminar is concluded.
