Compressed Gas Safety Conference

Gas Safety International (Pty) Ltd in conjunction with Messer Cutting Systems GmbH are hosting a conference to address the risks, shortcomings and potential solutions associated with the handling and use of compressed gases.
The Conference has been endorsed by the Minerals Council South Africa and has the backing of the Southern African – German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Safety of our staff, our assets and our reputations, is rightly an increasing concern to all of us. The theme of the conference is “SAFETY UNITES” and representatives from all role players from the mining and industrial sectors, governance and unions from South Africa and surrounding countries have been invited to participate.
The conference will be held over a full day on Tuesday 28th June 2022 in Johannesburg. Conference speakers include well known industry specialists, the global CEO from Messer Cutting Solutions as well as highly respected and knowledgeable experts in gas safety.
The intention of the conference is to provide delegates with an understanding of the risks of compressed gas and an insight into a unique solution to address these risks.

Direction to the Wanderers Club
FROM JOHANNESBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
- Take the R24 towards Johannesburg. Follow the N3 North to Pretoria signs at the Gilooley’s interchange.
- Follow the M1 South to Johannesburg signs at the Buccleuch interchange.
- Take the Corlett Drive Off ramp. Turn right at the bottom of the off ramp.
- Turn left into Rudd Road; THE WANDERERS CLUB entrance will be on the left.
FROM PRETORIA:
- Take the N1 highway toward Johannesburg. After passing through Midrand, continue on the M1 South to Johannesburg at the Buccleuch interchange. Take the Corlett Drive Off ramp.
- Turn right at the bottom of the off ramp. Turn left into Rudd Road; THE WANDERERS CLUB entrance will be on the left.
FROM MIDRAND:
- Take the N1 highway toward Johannesburg and continue on the M1 South to Johannesburg at the Buccleuch interchange. Take the Corlett Drive Off ramp. Turn right at the bottom of the off ramp.
- Turn left into Rudd Road; THE WANDERERS CLUB entrance will be on the left.
FROM JOHANNESBURG:
- Take the M1 North towards Sandton. Take the Corlett Drive Off ramp. Turn left at the bottom of the off ramp. Turn left into Rudd Road; THE WANDERERS CLUB entrance will be on the left.
FROM SANDTON, RIVONIA:
- Continue along Rivonia Drive towards Rosebank, Rivonia Road becomes Oxford Road.
- Turn left into Corlett Drive.
- At the next traffic light, turn right into Rudd Road. THE WANDERERS CLUB entrance will be on the left.
FROM THE EASTRAND:
- Follow the N3 North to Pretoria signs at the Gilooley’s interchange. Follow the M1 South to Johannesburg signs at the Buccleuch interchange.
